Hello, I've I'm just starting out and I was wondering if I could get some tips on attaching things like horns, wings, tails, manes, and the like.
I've seen others make them look nearly seamless, and I want to make sure they are attached securely.

Help with embroidery puckering
Can anyone give me any tips in not having this happen? I'm talking about the white not lying flat. It bubbles and puckers, and I don't like it :/

Tips for sewing mouths?
I recently started making pony plushies. I've made my own patterns and figured out how to do everything else, but I can't get my mouths to look as nice as what I see other people doing.
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Do you hand sew mouths or use a machine?
What type of stitch do you use?

I just got my hands on an embroidery machine and I am eager to start making my own embroidery files. Dose any one know of a good program to use that is free, cheap or super reliable with a good interface?

Some horns are indeed machine sewn on, but I prefer the control of hand sewing, not to mention one less seam.
